It's an old post but I wanted to throw on the blog some pics from Branch Brook park with Melissa Avery and her kids, Kate and John. Kate is 5 and has the sweetest personality! She gets along very well with Mykelle and they always enjoy playing together, even with the age difference. Johnny and Evan are about 1/2 a year apart (Johnny is older) and they are BEST friends. Really. They even kiss sometimes, on the lips, and us parents just kind of shrug our shoulders :) They are always saying they love each other- it's so cute!
Melissa planned a picnic to the park with her children to see the cherry blossoms and invited anyone who wanted to come along. It ended up being just Melissa and me with our kids. It worked out well- we were able to all drive in one vehicle and share one blanket for the picnic. The flowers were in peak season and the kids loved having so much room to run around. I loved chatting with Melissa and experimenting with Adam's new work camera- which is why there are so many pictures!
