Summer Fun in UT, Part 3

More pics of the fun Utah summer!  Sorry if you looked at the post before it was finished... I accidentally published instead of saving as a draft!  Not that it's much different now- there are still a million pictures but I cut out some of the doubles and some of the bad ones.

We spent several days at the Logan Aquatic Center- Evan was lost once and we found him at the top of the stairs to the slides.  He was crying because they wouldn't let him go down without an adult with him!
At least he had his life jacket on right??

There are so many comments that would work for this picture...

Papa Mike brought home a volcano to show the grandkids- it was quite anticlimactic.

"Hiking" up Logan Canyon with the kids.  We took a lot of snacks and had a lot of breaks- even so, the kids only made it a short way up the trail (to the base of the Crimson Trail).  The best part was finding a wild strawberry patch!

The mosquitos were out and they were HUNGRY!

The kids wanted to find bugs under all of the rocks.  Most had lots of ants and ant eggs under them.

Mmmmmm...

This is one of my favorite smiles of Evan's.

The river was overflowing the roadway here.

We went boating to Newton Dam with the Falslevs and the Jenkins.  The kids loved swimming and especially the big tube.

My favorite shot of Adam- for not having been wakeboarding in quite some time, he did pretty well!

Adam, Evan, and Mykelle

Cute little bums
Papa Mike saw the kids outside in the kiddie pool and decided to join them.  An experience the kids will always remember!

My mom likes to get the grandkids together for a shot of all of them- Emmie wasn't liking it much!

This one is my favorite- Mykelle was in heaven getting to hold Shaylee!
We went to the Logan Pioneer Day festival at Willow Park.  We skipped the parade and instead at at the booths and played on the blow up rides.

Mmmm... Navajo Tacos

Papa Skip bought the kids bubble guns- a fast favorite of the kid's.
Family BBQ in my parent's backyard:
